TV couple Bhagyashree and Himalaya Dasani to join new reality show Smart Jodi

New reality show, Smart Jodi, is set to premiere soon on Star Plus. The celebrity reality show is adapted from the popular Star Maa show Ishmart Jodi, which is hosted by Ohmkar. On the Telugu show, popular celebrities and their real-life partners battle it out against each other in fun tasks. The makers have announced a new jodi-contestant now and they are none other than Bhagyashree and her husband, Himalaya Dasani.

BHAGYASHREE AND HIMALAYA DASANI JOIN SMART JODI

Smart Jodi is going to be an interesting show and we are all waiting for its release. Star Plus’ Twitter handle just released the promo featuring Bhagyashree and Himalaya. The promo gives a glimpse of how the actress is in real life with her husband. We see Himalaya calling Bhagyashree a strict Queen. He says that she quit acting post marriage but hasn’t stopped being dramatic.

The promo is captioned, “Nature se strict hai, magar jodi super-hit hai! Miliye Bhagyashree aur Himalaya se #SmartJodi mein. Partner bhalein hi strict ho, lekin strictly in love with only you ho! Aise hi ek jodi, aa rahi hai aapse milne, #SmartJodi Mein (sic).”

Bollywood stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Riteish Deshmukh being approached to host Smart Jodi. It’s a fun reality show and around 12-15 couples will participate in Smart Jodi. Two of the couples’ names have already been out – Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma, and Rahul Mahajan and Natalya Ilina. Sharing the exclusive information, a source close to the show told IndiaToday.in, “There will be a host and a co-host. They have approached many names. One is Ayushmaan Khurrana, the others are Riteish Deshmukh and Maniesh Paul. They are in the process of locking one name. They are currently working on money, dates and other details.”

WHO ALL WILL PARTICIPATE IN SMART JODI?

Many couples have been approached to participate on the show as contestants. Some of the names who are in talks with the makers are Delnaaz Irani and her partner Percy Karkaria and her partner, Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy, Md Nazim and Shaeina Seth, Rupal Patel and her husband Radha Krishna Dutt, and Mona Lisa and Vikrant Singh Rajpoot. There might be cricketers and singers also joining the show.
