Spoiler Alert: Please only read this after seeing Inception. This is not a movie review, the ideas expressed in this article may give away too much of the plot or other information about the movie.
There are many various similarities between the movie Inception and the universal laws of attraction. Although the focus in this 2010 film refers to dreams and thought implantation, it gives some impressive insight into how to put the univeral laws in action. When you start watching the movie with an eye toward universal laws, it is easy to visualize how applicable the inception of a thought is to putting the Law of Attraction in action.
Most people who put universal law in action, for instance, utilize self-affirmations and/or dream-boards to assist them in their quest for their goals. Primarily, these affirmations and dreamboards move the goal focus from conscious thought into the subconscious or spirit. True to the movie, the simpler the idea being implanted into the subconscious the easier for the subconscious to accept the idea and for it to bubble up into the conscious mind as action and form a new reality. In one scene in Inception the characters openly discuss the need for the idea to evoke a feeling, stating honestly that strong emotional ties to the idea are needed and positive feelings always trump negative feelings — all absolutely true to move The Law of Attraction into action.
Another important idea expressed through Inception involves the fact that, although the idea can be deeply implanted with only one person, a team focused on the same goal can make the goal much easier to accomplish. When considering how to get The Law of Attraction in action it is quicker and more powerful to do so as a team or with a group supporting and visualizing the same goal.
The idea of time expressed in the dream world of Inception can also be thought of as the faster we accept how we get Law of Attraction in action, the faster the universe creates what we want.
When we put the universal law in action, we need to trust our same creativity expressed in our dreams to create or co-create our own reality in a way that we most strongly desire. As we become increasingly competent and confident at putting The Law of Attraction in action we create freely just as the deep dream level creation in Inception where characters designed and created an entire world.
