Doja Cat transforms into a sexy space commander in kooky new music video for Get Into It (Yuh)

Doja Cat has released the kooky new music video for her hit song Get Into It (Yuh), from her 2021 album Planet Her.

The quirky video sees the singer, 26, transform into a sexy space commander to rescue her cat, named Starscream, from evil aliens.

Captaining a glamorous female crew, Doja sits in her spaceship and goes to confront the alien overlord and demand he gives Starscream back.

Wearing a white and pink intergalactic gown, with two extremely high double slits, the star puts on a very daring leggy display.

Her blonde locks are styled in an elaborate up-do, with braids to her waist, and she sports bright pink eyeshadow and space-themed makeup.

The musician later sports an icy blue wig, teamed with a red space suit and a metal chest plate and thong as she twerks up a storm in front of the camera. 

Another shot of the Planet Her songstress shows her in a white latex halterneck cut out gown that clings to her incredible curves with coordinating gloves.

Donning a bright pink pixie cut wig and bizarre black eyeliner, Doja dances alone in what looks like a space station elevator shaft.

The star then slips into a vibrant blue wig and orange outfit with a silver plate brassiere and matching underwear and boots in order to fight the aliens and save her beloved feline.

Teleporting to their ship, she and her minions proceed to dance in formation and she twerks her way to victory, by deflecting the aliens’ laser beams off her chest. 

Victorious, she takes Starscream back to her ship and enjoys a celebratory drink.

According to Rolling Stone, Doja’s team held a casting call to play Starscream in the video and she decided to pick a ‘funny-looking one with really dirty, crazy eyes.’

The video has garnered massive praise online, and racked up over 1 million views within first few hours. 

It comes after the pop star clapped back at those who view her as a sexual object with ‘no opinions’.

Speaking to Rolling Stone UK, Doja explained how she is often seen as: ‘A vapid rapper girl with boobs a**, and I have no opinions.

‘You see someone on a screen, and they’re putting on an act and doing a thing for the camera, and you’re like, “Oh, that’s how they are all the time.”

‘It’s a shallow way to think, that the person on the TV is nothing but a glob of pixels doing clown s***.’

Doja’s career has skyrocketed recently, with the star receiving a hat trick of American Music Awards last month.

She’s also set to perform a the BRIT Awards 2022 and received up a whopping seven nominations for the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Thursday.
